Apple Slashes iPhone 14 Battery Replacement Costs and iPhone 15 Pro Prices in the UK

Following the iPhone 15 launch, Apple has reduced battery replacement costs for iPhone 14 models in the UK and lowered prices for iPhone 15 Pro models by at least £100. Additionally, AirPods Max and AirPods Pro prices have been reduced. In the US, only the iPhone 15 Pro Max has seen a price increase due to storage configuration changes.

Apple has made significant pricing changes in the United Kingdom following the launch of the iPhone 15, including reductions in iPhone 14 battery replacement costs. The most substantial savings are seen with the iPhone 14 models. Prior to the iPhone 15 announcement, Apple charged £105 for iPhone 14 battery replacements, but now the price has been lowered to £95, a £10 reduction.

For models ranging from iPhone XR to iPhone 13, battery replacements now cost £85 compared to the previous price of £89. Similarly, for iPhone SE through iPhone X models, the new battery replacement price is £65, down from £69.

Apple has updated its iPhone Battery Servicing program pricing as follows:

iPhone 14 models: £95

iPhone XR to iPhone 13 models: £85

iPhone SE to iPhone X models: £65

With the exception of the starting price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple has also made the newly announced iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models at least £100 cheaper across all configuration options compared to the equivalent iPhone 14 Pro models from the previous year. Similar price reductions have been reported in other European countries.

Furthermore, Apple has reduced the price of the AirPods Max from £549 to £499 and updated the second-generation AirPods Pro from £249 to £229.

In the US, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the only device to see a price increase, rising by $100 to $1,199 due to Apple's decision to eliminate the 128GB storage option and establish 256GB as the new minimum storage configuration. Apple has also implemented more aggressive price increases for these phones in certain markets, including Canada and India.
